A very successful reception for authors
Thanks to all who helped make the reception a great success. We had a steady stream of people ( approx. 50) who came to meet and congratulate the five authors on February 5 at the Lincoln Center. Our dear lady, Gladys Nelson, the first to publish a children's book, Leto's Leap, and later wrote Table Manners, was the highlight of the party. Bob and Bonnie Rutta who wrote three books between them, Bianco and Diago Two Peas in a Pod, and Fun at the Cabin, and Unintentional Deception, a fiction novel written by Bob, showed their books to friends and attendees. Ken Danczyk, author of Grandpa's Farm, was there with his wife Judy. My dear husband, Dave was so supportive - he even dressed in his best tuxcedo! My fiction book, Decision or Destiny, the second to last to be published, is available at the Holly Shoppe which is inside of the Lincoln Center. Cliff Leary, our most prolific writer of three books could not attend. He published, Grandpa cliff's Verses, Grandp Cliff's Tales, and Grandpa Cliff Remembers. Most all of these books are available on Amazon.com and also locally. The books will be showcased for all of February in the glass cases in the lobby of the Lincoln Center, 1519 Water St., Stevens Point, Wis.

Book Review in Scene Newspaper
"Decision or Destiny puts us inside the head and heart of a mother, wife, grandmother and writer, as she recounts her life to her granddaughter Noel. In the Prologue, narrator Dianna tells us about her high school romance with Michael. He was too serious, and she was only 15, so she broke it off. But he wouldn't let her return his ID bracelet, wanting her to keep it, 'as a symbol of our love.' And the love endured..."

A love story about coming home...
Why did it take Dianna 34 years to contact Michael, her high school sweetheart? This is a love story about coming home that is based on actual events in the lives of Dianna and Michael, sweethearts from 1959. Dianna took many detours before returning to her small home town and getting up the nerve to write and then phone Michael.
This is a good book to surprise your sweetheart with for Valentine's Day - along with chocolates and a warming fire to cuddle up and read together!
